Julianne later married Peter's brother Oluf Christianson

At the time of the 1910 Census, Peter's mother Marie was living at the farm as well as Peter's brother John. Believe that Otto was living there as well, but was not at home when the census taker came. NOTE: Melvin was just 1 1/2 years old at time of census.
Louise was apparantly gone at this time >>> Married Dr PA Krome.

They sailed to America on April 13th from Christiana, Norway which is today referred to as Oslo.

This land grant is dated for approval December 20, 1875. Application would have been five years earlier in 1870. The Grantee had five years to complete land improvements before officially granted the deed. NOTE: President U. S. Grant signed the Deed.

Departure was from Southhampton, England
Present on this ship was Juliane Langlo (21 Years) and her mother Beate Langlo (55 Years) They came to visit the Peter Christianson Farm in Strum, WI. Juliane later married Peter Christianson's brother Oluff in 1902. Beate Langlo went back to Norway and died there in 1926.
Do not know who Louise Langlo was >>> probably a cousin.
